Visiting Gwaun Valley Brewery

The brewery

Set up in 2009 inside an old granary building in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, our brewery is the perfect setting to enjoy the fantastic views from Kilkiffeth Farm, whilst sipping one of our exceptional real ales.

Overlooking the beautiful Preseli Hills, the brewery is split into two main sections; one half dedicated to brewing fantastic and flavourful real ales, the other half to the tasting! On brewing day, you can see the brewers at work, smell the malted barley and hops and, best of all, taste the finished product!

We believe in using quality products and traditional methods during the brewing process; malted barley is steeped in hot water and combined with hops. Boiled, fermented and bottled within 7-10 days, ready to drink a few weeks later. We feel this technique combined with wholesome ingredients and natural spring water sourced straight from the farm is what gives our beers their unique flavour.

From mild and fruity to full bodied and malty, you'll be truly spoilt for choice. But don't worry; our bottled beers and ales mean you can take a taste of Wales home with you.

The campsite

A mere 100 metres away from the brewery, our campsite is a naturalist's paradise. Our level one-acre site has great views of the hills and regularly plays host to local wildlife including Red Kites and a wide range of butterfly species, especially in and around August.

Nearby woodlands host several native species of flower, including rosebay willowherb and marsh marigolds.

Surrounded by hedgerows, the site features spring water on tap and full toilet and shower facilities. You will also have access to an on-site fridge/freezer. The site is also recognised by The Camping and Caravanning Club.

We are a pet-friendly campsite, with dogs welcome!

Gwaun Valley Brewery is situated on Kilkiffeth Farm in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. If you follow the B4313, we're 5 miles south of Fishguard, before you turn off for Pontfaen.
